Disney has entered the metal fashion trend with its new 'Villains' apparel collection. Inspired by 80s metal music, this edgy line features iconic bad guys like Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Ursula, Hades, and Yzma and Kronk.

The collection includes T-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts with distinct metal subgenre treatments. The Evil Queen's shirt features her classic line 'Mirror Mirror' in a jagged black-metal font, while Hades and Ursula sport heavy gothic-and-doom-metal aesthetics.

Yzma and Kronk's design is styled after classic thrash metal logos, highlighting Yzma's iconic command to 'Pull the lever!' Maleficent's shirt is designed like an authentic vintage rock concert T-shirt for a fictional 'Villainous Tour.'

The collection marks a broader shift towards embracing Disney's darker side. With new attractions and entertainment like Villains Land at Magic Kingdom and the Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show, Disney is catering more to its alternative fanbase who desire a darker aesthetic.
