Disney Hikes Streaming Prices Amid Cable Revenue Downturn

The Walt Disney Company is increasing prices for its streaming bundles and standalone services. The price hikes aim to generate more revenue from premium shows and sports, as well as offset a decline in cable subscription revenue.

Hulu's live television service will now cost $100 per month with ads or $110 without ads. Standalone versions of Hulu and Disney Plus with ads will be $12.50 each, while ad-free plans will increase to $21.50 per month for each service.

The ad-inclusive bundle that pairs Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited together remains unchanged at $36 per month, but the premium bundle increases to $45 per month without ads.
