Disney hikes theme park and streaming prices as fiscal year starts
The Walt Disney Company has once again raised ticket prices for its theme parks, marking another increase as its fiscal year begins. The announcement came on Tuesday, with adjustments affecting both single-day passes and annual passes. Prices will vary based on the day and park visited. At Walt Disney World, the most economical park, Animal Kingdom, remains at $119 per day. However, the most expensive combination, Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom, will now cost $229 for a single adult ticket in 2027, up from $209 this year. The same price applies to New Year’s Eve tickets.
Annual passes also saw increases across different tiers. The Pixie Dust Pass, the lowest tier with blackout dates for Florida residents, rose by $10. The Pirate Pass, also with blackout dates for Florida residents, increased by $40. The Sorcerer Pass, available to Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members, also went up by $40. The Incredi-Pass, available to all guests without blackout dates, saw the largest increase of $120.
Disneyland also adjusted some prices, with middle-tier prices rising by 3% to 4%, or $5 to $10, depending on dates. The Magic Key annual passes, however, remained unchanged. Additionally, Disney+ and Hulu streaming services will now cost an extra $2.50, raising the monthly fee to $21.49.
The skip-the-line service, Single Rider Pass, will see a “moderate increase,” while the premium Lightning Lane Premiere Pass could rise by up to $50 depending on demand. Lightning Lane Multi Pass and parking prices will remain unchanged.
