Disney Hosts Two-Day Creator Event 'Created in LA' at Historic Theater
The Walt Disney Company hosted 'Created in LA,' a two-day creator event at the historic El Capitan Theatre and legendary Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, CA. The event brought together hundreds of top creators, including Jon Youshaei, to connect, collaborate, and push storytelling into new forms.
Disney's support of this event reflects its legacy as a pioneer in bringing world-class storytelling to audiences through innovative channels. 'What strikes me about this room is the instinct so many of you have for your audience,' said Dana Walden, President and Chief Creative Officer of Disney. 'You know them intimately, you hear from them constantly, and you adjust in real time based on what they want.'
The event featured remarks and discussions from top executives, including Walt Disney Animation Studios Chief Creative Officer Jared Bush, Global Creative Director Bobby Kim, and CEO Josh D'Amaro. It also included the premiere of two creator films, a Masterclass from Asad Ayaz, and various other sessions on storytelling and creativity.
