Disney Imagineer Asa Kalama Taps Interactive Expertise

Asa Kalama, Creative Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, oversees the development of interactive attractions and experiences for the global Lucas Film Portfolio.

Kalama spent over a decade in Research & Development at Walt Disney Imagineering, where he developed new tools and technologies for various divisions within the company, including Parks and Resorts, Consumer Products, Games, and Entertainment.

Before joining Walt Disney Imagineering, Kalama attended the University of California Los Angeles, where he studied design at the school of Theater, Film, and Television. His experience in performing arts has allowed him to bring a unique perspective to thematic storytelling within his role at Walt Disney Imagineering.
