Disney Imagineering Teases Mysterious New Character in S.E.A. Puzzle

The Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.) is at it again, teasing new developments in Walt Disney Imagineering's ongoing puzzle. At D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, fans attending a talk in the Imagineering booth were initially told that they would be receiving a special new artifact. However, what followed was a series of riddles and puzzles that have left fans scratching their heads.

The first puzzle consisted of finding the name of a mysterious character who has stolen an artifact from S.E.A. Each puzzle is comprised of a single letter answer, which must be unscrambled to reveal the guilty party's name. The answers can be found inside Disneyland or by searching online for images of the park.

The third and latest puzzle in the series has been released, guiding fans to search online for a letter from Bonnie Booker, who claims to have discovered exciting evidence in the S.E.A. archives. While the solution remains unknown, it is believed that it will introduce a new character into the world of S.E.A.

It's unclear how this new character will fit into the various S.E.A.-associated attractions, but some speculate that it may reveal the connection between S.E.A. and the Matterhorn, which was previously teased at D23.
