Disney Imagineering Unveils Exciting New Projects at D23 2026

The Walt Disney Imagineering pavilion at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event was a must-visit for theme park fans, showcasing updates on various projects around the world. This year's 'Imagineering: Horizons' pavilion took on a Carousel of Progress theme, highlighting ongoing developments in various Disney parks and resorts.

Among the showcased projects were the new Abu Dhabi resort, Tokyo Disneyland's revamped Space Mountain, and a Wreck-It Ralph retheme of Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters attraction. The Lion King Immersive World at Disney Adventure World park was also featured, with a sneak peek at its upcoming flume attraction.

The pavilion included various models, artwork, and sizzle reels for each project. For example, the new Space Mountain in Tokyo Disneyland will feature a state-of-the-art rollercoaster, special effects, and be called 'Space Mountain Earthrise.' The Wreck-It Ralph ride was also showcased with a sizzle-reel video.
