Disney+ Kicks Off World Princess Week 2026 with Concert Celebration

The Disney+ platform is launching World Princess Week 2026, an eight-day celebration of the Disney Princess legacy. The event runs from August 16 to 22 and features new releases, themed entertainment, and music.

One of the main attractions during this period will be a concert celebration titled 'Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration.' It is scheduled for release on August 16 and promises to be the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent yet. Expect big projections and even bigger fountains.

In addition, there are three other new releases set to arrive between August 17 and 21. These include 'Once a Princess, Always a Princess,' a short film that celebrates princesses of all ages; new episodes of 'Sofia the First: Royal Magic'; and 'LEGO Disney Princess: Magical Mayhem,' which follows a group of princess characters as they try to care for animals in need.

The Princess Collection on Disney+ also features milestone anniversaries, including the 35th anniversary of 'Beauty and the Beast' (1991) and the 10th anniversary of 'Moana' (2016).
