Disney Legacy Lives On: 'Return to Rainbow Ridge' Event Announced
The Carolwood Barn, a beloved part of Walt Disney's personal legacy, is set to host an exciting event called 'Return to Rainbow Ridge' at Garner Holt Productions in Redlands, California.
This special event will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, from 4 pm to 9 pm and promises to be a unique experience for fans of Disney and train enthusiasts alike.
The Carolwood Barn is typically open to the public every third Sunday of the month from 11 am to 3 pm for free, offering visitors a chance to see Walt's personal train barn as well as other exhibits such as Ollie Johnston's train station and the Retlaw1 Combine Car.
However, this event is different, featuring a panel discussion with special guests including Joanna Miller, Walt Disney's granddaughter, and Garner Holt, master craftsman of trains and animatronics. They will share their personal stories and insights about Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland ride, including its history, how it came to be, and their own experiences.
The event offers three tiers of tickets: Rainbow Caverns (Premier), The Balancing Rock (VIP), and Twin Sisters (General Admission). Prices range from $135.23 to $534.31, with the latter including exclusive merchandise, dinner, dessert, a tour of Garner Holt Productions, and priority seating.
