Disney Springs' PhotoPass Studio Revamped with Interactive Storytelling
No Disney World trip is complete without proof of its existence in the form of photos. For those looking to capture memories outside of the parks, a significant update has been made to the PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs.
The newly updated studio now offers an interactive experience that utilizes Story Medallions to guide guests through various photo themes. Each medallion is unique to its respective theme, such as Toy Story or Frozen, and can be used to transform the green screen area into a corresponding environment.
Upon choosing a theme, visitors are presented with a room resembling an older photography studio, complete with vintage camera designs and pictures hung on clothespins. The backdrop also features fully animated pieces that blend seamlessly with the inanimate elements.
The PhotoPass Studio's other side boasts a static backdrop that changes seasonally, currently featuring a pumpkin patch theme. While the experience itself is free, only the photos taken are subject to costs.
