Disney Legends Class of 2026 Inducted at D23: The Ultimate Fan Event

The Disney Legends Class of 2026 was inducted at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the legacy of The Walt Disney Company. The ceremony took place at the Honda Center in Anaheim and featured a new crop of honorees.

Chris Berman, a longtime ESPN personality, was one of those recognized for his decades-long career with the network. Jerry Bruckheimer, renowned film and television producer, was also part of the class. His credits include Pirates of the Caribbean and National Treasure.

The Disney Legends Class of 2026 included several actors and actresses who have worked extensively with the company. Susan Egan originated the role of Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway and voiced Meg in Hercules. Eric Goldberg, an animator and director, was behind the Genie in Aladdin and Phil in Hercules.

The class also honored Anne Hathaway, known for her roles in The Princess Diaries and Alice in Wonderland. Dwayne Johnson, a former professional wrestler turned actor, has starred in several Disney films including Moana and The Jungle Cruise. His production company, Seven Bucks, has also been involved in various Disney productions.
