Disney Legends to Headline IAAPA Expo Panel Discussion
The annual IAAPA Expo for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions is coming to Orlando in November. Two high-profile events will be held, focusing on Disney Parks.
The 'Legends of Disney' panel will take place on November 18 from 4:00-5:30 PM. Bob Weis, former head of Walt Disney Imagineering, and Joe Rohde, a Disney Legend award winner, will join documentary filmmaker Leslie Iwerks for the discussion.
The panel will be moderated by industry veteran Bob Rogers and will cover how storytelling drives attraction development and collaboration leads to ride vehicle design. The goal is for the audience to learn from their experiences and apply those lessons to their own work.
A Lunch and Learn session with Andrew Bolstein, President and General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort, has also been scheduled for November 16 from noon-2 PM.
