Disney Limits Use of Gift Cards at Select Retailers

Disney has introduced a change to where its gift cards can be used at Walt Disney World. The change affects third-party retailers at Disney Springs, excluding those owned by Disney itself.

Guests with Disney Gift Cards can no longer use them at Vera Bradley and Zara, among other select stores. However, some other third-party retailers at Disney Springs still accept the cards.

This is reportedly due to a contract change between Disney and these third-party retailers. It's likely that more retailers may be impacted in the future as similar changes are made to their contracts.

Disney Gift Cards can still be used for various expenses, including dining, shopping, hotel reservations, and tickets, across all of Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and Disney Store online.
