The memo, which has been leaked, echoes sentiments expressed by CEO Josh D'Amaro and CFO Hugh Johnston during a quarterly earnings call in May. At that time, they highlighted the importance of leveraging AI to benefit creative processes and theme parks, as well as decisions aimed at contributing to the company's goal of 'a culture of efficiency.'
Gutierrez emphasized the need for hard choices about resource deployment and investments, including staffing, in order to achieve this vision. The memo also referenced automating certain workflows by leveraging latest technologies, engaging alternative providers, and outsourcing.
