Disney Musician Finds New Home at Magic Kingdom
Carol Stein, a veteran Disney musician, has found a new home at Magic Kingdom's Casey's Corner. With over three decades of experience entertaining guests throughout Walt Disney World, Stein is now performing outside the Main Street, U.S.A. restaurant.
Stein joined the company in 1990 and has since performed at various locations, including Comedy Warehouse at Pleasure Island, Rose & Crown Pub, and Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Her new position brings her into Magic Kingdom, putting her performances directly in the path of thousands of guests traveling through Main Street, U.S.A.
Stein's approach to performing isn't limited to playing the correct notes; she emphasizes the importance of interacting with guests and creating personal connections. She has a particular appreciation for composer Alan Menken and music connected to The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) and draws inspiration from Tinker Bell, her favorite Disney character.
