Disney Offers Free Muppets Magnet and Other Perks to Retain Annual Passholders
Walt Disney World has announced new perks for Annual Passholders (APs) to enjoy at Hollywood Studios, including a free Muppets magnet and other special offerings. The AP Appreciation Days event, which ran from mid-May to the end of July, may have ended, but its spirit lives on in these new incentives.
The free Muppets magnet is available at Mickey Shorts Theater from August 11 to September 24, while supplies last. Passholders must show their valid Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, or Disney MagicMobile pass, along with a government-issued photo ID, to receive the magnet. The new Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets ride is also open at Hollywood Studios.
In addition to the free Muppets magnet, APs can enjoy a Passholder-exclusive Magic Shot featuring Kermit the Frog playing his banjo. This limited-time offer is available from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM every day from August 11 to September 24 at the end of Hollywood Boulevard.
The Key Lime Kermit Milkshake, while not free, is a tasty treat that APs can enjoy at Dockside Diner. This milkshake, available from August 11 to September 24, features vanilla ice cream, key lime cake crumbs, and key lime sauce.
Disney's new survey testing huge $400 Annual Pass & Lightning Lane discounts suggests that the company is considering offering significant incentives to APs in the future. Based on past patterns, it is likely that Walt Disney World will offer a gift card deal for new AP purchases in the coming weeks.
