Disney Offers Mickey Magnet as Renewal Incentive Ahead of Price Hikes
Walt Disney World is offering a free Mickey Mouse magnet to Annual Passholders who renew their passes before the price increase next month. This incentive comes after two previous initiatives, including V.I.Passholder Summer Days and a smaller-scale Muppets offering at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The magnet features Mickey in his finest turn-of-the-century attire, inspired by Main Street, U.S.A.
The move is seen as an attempt to retain existing Annual Passholders, who may be considering letting their passes lapse due to the impending price increase. In a similar vein, Disneyland recently offered a Free Disney Dining Gift Card Up to $100 with Magic Key Renewal, suggesting that Walt Disney World may follow suit in the future.
However, it's likely that any potential renewal discounts or gift cards will be attached to higher base prices, as the company aims to increase revenue through price hikes. Annual Passholders are advised to purchase a voucher or certificate to secure current pricing, as prices are expected to rise by around 5% next year.
