Disney Parks Blend Nostalgia and Innovation at D23 Horizons
Disney Parks' future is looking brighter than ever as the company continues to blend nostalgia with cutting-edge technology. The D23 Horizons Showcase, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, showcased the latest updates and reveals across Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line.
The event highlighted several key areas of focus for Imagineering, including Tomorrowland at Disneyland Resort, Coco's upcoming dark ride in Disney California Adventure (DCA), and Avengers Campus expansions. Walt Disney World saw significant attention with the release of Tropical Americas, featuring the Encanto attraction and Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent.
Other notable updates included progress on Carousel of Progress, Villains Land, and Cars Ridge Run Rally model at Piston Peak in Magic Kingdom; early looks at Monstropolis/Monsters, Inc. land and Spaceship Earth renovations in Disney's Hollywood Studios & EPCOT; and the return of Dreamfinder alongside Figment.
International parks also received attention, with the revival of Space Mountain's original theme at Disneyland Paris and Wreck-It Ralph debuting at Tokyo Disneyland. New fleet additions for Disney Cruise Line were announced, including the Disney Believe.
