Disney Parks: The Surprising Rules That Can Get You Kicked Out
Disney parks have strict rules to maintain a safe and family-friendly environment. While some rules are obvious, others can be vague or surprising.
In May 2022, TikToker Nicole DeLosReyes shared her experience of being asked to leave Epcot for wearing a white cropped top deemed inappropriate by staff. The park's dress code prohibits clothing that exposes excessive skin, leaving room for interpretation.
Using flash photography on dark rides like Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean can also lead to warnings or ejection. Additionally, adults dressing in character costumes are not allowed, as it violates Disney's no-cosplay policy for guests over 14 years old.
Vaping and smoking are strictly prohibited inside the parks, with enforcement being strict. In 2023, two YouTubers were escorted out of Disneyland after vaping nicotine and CBD while waiting in line.
Line-cutting is also a serious offense, and Disney takes it seriously. A group of guests was removed from Walt Disney World last summer for repeatedly attempting to cut in line and allegedly getting into a physical fight when called out.
