Disney Promotes Melissa Stone to SVP of Publicity Amid Global Expansion

The Walt Disney Studios has promoted Melissa Stone to Senior Vice President of Publicity. In her new role, Stone will oversee the global PR strategy for several production labels, including Disney Live Action, Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios.

Stone brings over two decades of experience in publicity, with 14 years spanning Fox and Disney. She has worked on numerous high-profile projects, including Avatar: The Way of Water, Lilo & Stitch, and Andor.

Stone will report directly to President of Studios Marketing Martha Morrison, who praised Stone's exceptional publicity experience and ability to drive audience engagement and cultural impact.
