Disney Railroad Closed Temporarily as Magic Kingdom Construction Continues

The Walt Disney World Railroad has temporarily closed in Magic Kingdom due to refurbishment. The classic attraction was confirmed by Disney to be closing on September 28th, with a planned reopening on October 30th. During this time, visitors will not be able to ride the train around Tomorrowland.

This closure is part of several ongoing construction projects in Magic Kingdom, including Villains Land and Piston Peak. The Carousel of Progress has also been closed since July for a total reimagining. The revamped show will feature new scenes set in the 1960s, 1980s, and possible future.

Disney has announced that Bryan Cranston will be voicing Father, while Jamie Lee Curtis will be voicing Mother in the updated Carousel of Progress.
