Disney Redesigns Consumer Products Leadership Structure
The Walt Disney Company is reshaping its Consumer Products leadership structure to align its franchises and storytelling more closely with its products and publishing businesses.
Starting October 4, global licensing and publishing will move under the Disney Studios umbrella, while Parks merchandise and direct retail operations will remain within Disney Experiences.
Cathleen Taff has been appointed President of Disney Entertainment, Studios and Consumer Products. She will report to Alan Bergman, Chairman of Disney Studios, and oversee the incoming Consumer Products licensing and publishing operations.
Taff's expanded portfolio includes production services, franchise management, theatrical distribution for major studio labels, and oversight of Disney Theatrical Group and Disney Music Group.
