Disney Refurbishments: Reopens and Closures in Disney World and Disneyland

Disney World and Disneyland are gearing up for a new week of refurbishments. From February 24th to March 1st, several attractions will be closed for maintenance, including Discovery Island in Disney's Animal Kingdom. However, two previously closed attractions, the Haunted Mansion and Jessie's Critter Carousel, are set to reopen during this time.

The closures affect various parks across both resorts, including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and California Adventure. The Walt Disney World Railroad will also be undergoing maintenance, while Typhoon Lagoon will be closed due to refurbishments. In contrast, the Red Car Trolley at Disneyland's Main Street USA is set to reopen on March 1st.

Guests planning to visit either resort during this period should check the attraction schedules and plan accordingly. Some popular rides like Splash Mountain, Kali River Rapids, and Test Track will be unavailable due to refurbishments.
