Disney Repaints Haunted Mansion's Classic Facade
The Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom has undergone a makeover. Maintenance teams repainted the entire exterior of the iconic ride, restoring its original color scheme from when it opened in 1971.
Despite scaffolding covering the façade for several weeks, the attraction remained open to guests while the painting was done.
The updated paint job gives the Mansion a colder aesthetic, fitting for the spooky and silly vibe of the ride. The new look is a return to its original design, which has been a classic for over 50 years.
