Disney Replaces Classic Ride Soundtrack with New Lilypad-Themed Tracks

Disney's Hollywood Studios is shaking things up in Toy Story Land. After eight years of operation, the Alien Swirling Saucers ride will undergo a significant change on September 25th. The original concept of the ride will be replaced by Lilypad - the antagonist from Toy Story 5 (2026) - who will take over as the DJ and spin a new soundtrack called 'Lilypad's Jams'. This new soundtrack combines remixed Toy Story classics with new songs spanning pop, country, EDM, and alt-rock.

The updated ride will include versions of Randy Newman's 'You've Got a Friend in Me', 'We Belong Together', and 'I Can't Let You Throw Yourself Away' - but it is unclear if Taylor Swift's 'I Knew It, I Knew You' from the Toy Story 5 soundtrack will also be included.

The entrance to the attraction will also receive a makeover with a Lilypad's Jams overlay. This change brings Alien Swirling Saucers closer to Tokyo Disneyland's The Happy Ride with Baymax, which uses a similar spinning ride system but pairs it with six original songs played at random.
