Disney Restricts Access to Hollywood Studios Location for Holiday Party
Disney's Hollywood Studios will soon restrict access to one of its locations, Mickey Shorts Theater, where the Vacation Fun presentation is held. This restricted access means that regular park guests will no longer be able to see the original animated short featuring Mickey and Minnie.
The show is set to close on October 28, 2026, just a month after returning from its latest extended closure. The previous closure was due to the theater being used for distributing a Kermit the Frog Annual Passholder magnet.
This development comes as Disney's separately ticketed holiday party, Jollywood Nights, is expanding into January with 15 dates scheduled, including January 3 and January 5, 2027. The event features exclusive attractions, character encounters, and themed venues.
