Disney Reveals Monster-Themed Dining Options for 2027 Monstropolis Land
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is gearing up to welcome guests to a brand-new themed land inspired by the beloved franchise, Monsters, Inc. The immersive Monstropolis experience will open in phases starting in 2027, introducing multiple dining options that blend familiar flavors with monster-inspired twists.
Harryhausen’s, a restaurant featured in the original movie, will serve ramen bowls with a monstrous flair. Dishes will include traditional elements like tonkotsu broth and alkaline noodles, along with playful additions such as fishcake slices shaped like eyeballs and green eggs. The restaurant will also feature a Sushi Chef Audio-Animatronic, mirroring the movie’s iconic scene where the chef’s tentacles prepare meals.
Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, inspired by Monsters University, will offer a quick-service dining experience reminiscent of a popular pizza spot for monster students. One of the highlights will be the debut of Blort, a Monstropolis favorite, reimagined as a purple frozen soda topped with Scream Apple Foam. Both Harryhausen’s and Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza are set to open during the initial phase in 2027.
Disney continues to tease more details about the menus and additional offerings as the opening approaches. Guests can look forward to a fully immersive Monstropolis experience, complete with unique culinary creations and interactive dining environments.
