Disney+ Secures Five-Year NHL Deal for Sweden and Finland
The National Hockey League (NHL) has signed a five-year agreement with Disney+ to broadcast live hockey games in Sweden and Finland, starting from the 2026/27 season.
This deal will make NHL content available on ESPN on Disney+, which includes select games streaming live, as well as studio shows, original programming, and more. In Finland, some games will also be shown on Star Channel.
The agreement covers 160 regular-season games, including 50 guaranteed games in Nordic primetime, plus 20 playoff games from the first and second rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
