Disney Skyliner Closes for Maintenance in Early 2028

Disney Skyliner, Walt Disney World's aerial gondola system, will close for maintenance from January 24 to February 2, 2028. This closure follows a similar schedule as previous years, with a brief annual shutdown typically occurring in late January.

The system connects several resort hotels directly to two theme parks, Epcot and Hollywood Studios, spanning about 6 miles across three routes. Each of the 300 gondola cabins holds up to 10 guests, with ride times ranging from 5 to 15 minutes depending on the route.

During both closures in 2027 and 2028, complimentary bus transportation will be available for guests at Disney's Riviera Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, Art of Animation Resort, and Pop Century Resort. This service will run between these resorts and Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
