Disney Skyliner Takes Flight Over Walt Disney World

The Disney Skyliner is a state-of-the-art gondola system that connects several Walt Disney World resorts and theme parks. The system, which opened on September 29, 2019, features over 300 colorful gondolas and eight stations, including one at EPCOT's International Gateway.

Each gondola can hold up to ten passengers without a wheelchair or stroller, while those with these accommodations are limited to six passengers. The Skyliner travels at speeds of up to 11MPH and reaches heights of up to 60 feet.

Riders can enjoy the scenic views of Walt Disney World from their gondola as they travel between stops. However, it's worth noting that the Skyliner will temporarily close in inclement weather for safety reasons.
