Disney Springs Restricts Transportation, Adds Interactive Gaming Venue

Disney Springs has undergone significant changes in recent months, making it a different experience for visitors. One of the most notable changes is the permanent transportation restriction between Disney Springs and Disney Resort hotels.

For years, guests could park at Disney Springs and hop on a complimentary bus or Sassagoula River Cruise boat to explore other resorts. However, this policy has been eliminated, and now only those staying at a Disney Resort hotel or with a valid dining reservation or Enchanting Extras reservation can use the transportation.

Another major addition to Disney Springs is LEVEL99, an interactive gaming venue that offers physical and mental challenge rooms where teams compete together. The nearly 47,000-square-foot venue also includes a full-service bar and restaurant, making it easy to spend several hours there without setting foot in one of the theme parks.

Six Ravens, a new savory concept from the creators of Gideon's Bakehouse, has finally welcomed its first guests during a soft-opening phase. The restaurant plans to activate a virtual queue whenever demand becomes too high, allowing guests to receive a text message when it's their turn to return and continue exploring Disney Springs.

Wine Bar George has also launched a new culinary experience called Uncorked, which includes chef demonstrations, guided wine tastings, educational seminars, and curated food pairings. The series will run from September through mid-November and offers several ticketed experiences for guests looking for something beyond a traditional dinner reservation.
