Disney Stars Bella Thorne and Zendaya Open Up About Feud

Bella Thorne, former Disney child star, opened up about her past feud with co-star Zendaya on the Call Her Daddy podcast. The actresses were pitted against each other by 'the patriarchy' when they were just 12 years old, competing for a limited number of spots in the entertainment industry.

'We have to make you guys all beg for one spot so that we can have the 80 million other ones,' Thorne said, describing how she and Zendaya were forced into competition. 'If you guys can beat each other down... eat yourselves alive... while we have all these spots... for women, just one of you.'

The Shake It Up stars eventually put their differences aside, turning the situation around during a live set when they snuck away to talk it out.

'It was my first experience woman to woman, girl to girl, where you actually can speak, and you can both be heard about the different things you've been experiencing,' Thorne reflected.
