Disney Sued Over Alleged Child Abuse on Set of 2001 Movie

Raquel Lee Bolleau, a former child star, has filed a negligence lawsuit against the Walt Disney Company. She claims she was repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted on the set of The Poof Point in 2001, while working as a minor.

The alleged perpetrator is identified only as John Doe, described as an adult male employee of Disney involved in filming the movie. According to Bolleau's complaint, her abuse was apparent to adults on set, but Disney failed to take action and instead facilitated the abuse by concealing it.

Bolleau claims that she was not safe on Disney's set, which should have been a protected environment for child actors. She is seeking accountability from Disney, stating that they caused irreparable harm and must be held responsible.
