Raquel Lee Bolleau, a former Disney child star, has filed a lawsuit against The Walt Disney Company alleging she was sexually assaulted by a former employee during filming of a Disney Channel movie in 2001.

Bolleau claims the incidents occurred while filming in Salt Lake City and continued on travel back to California. She alleges that Disney staff encouraged her to spend time with the employee, who was not named in the lawsuit, and that she was often separated from her guardian during production without adequate supervision.

Bolleau further claims adults on set noticed changes in her behavior and wellbeing during filming but did nothing to intervene or investigate. She alleges Disney representatives blamed her for these changes and ultimately canceled a future role she had been expecting.
