The Walt Disney Company reported strong third-quarter results driven by the success of 'Toy Story 5' and its US theme parks, which saw a 27% increase in operating income. The film pulled in $1 billion at the global box office during this period, while Disney's US theme parks experienced a 3% increase in attendance from domestic tourists and annual passholders.

Disney also announced a deal with TikTok to share fan-created content on its Disney+ app. This partnership aims to bring exclusive content to users of the streaming service. In addition, Disney's Experiences division reported $9.97 billion in revenue, with operating income climbing 20% to $3.02 billion.

Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro attributed the success of its theme parks to the company's 'consistent investments' and the unique experiences it provides to fans. The growth in attendance at domestic parks is being driven by US residents, but Disney is also seeing increased traffic from overseas visitors.
