Disney Taps Melissa Stone as New SVP of Publicity

Melissa Stone has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Publicity at Walt Disney Studios. She will lead the publicity team and oversee global PR strategy for various studios, including Disney Live Action, Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios.

Stone's experience spans over two decades, with 14 years at Fox and Disney. Her credits include recent films such as 'Avatar: The Way of Water' and live-action remakes like 'The Little Mermaid'.

She replaces Michelle Sewell, who recently retired from the company. Stone will report to Martha Morrison, President of Studios Marketing.
