The United Arab Emirates is set to get its first new Disney theme park in over a decade. Located on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, this major development will be accompanied by significant growth in the surrounding area.

According to The National, a new residential community called The Wadi has been announced for the vicinity of the park. Spanning 140,000 square meters, it will include nearly 4,000 homes, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. This mixed-use development will also feature recreation and sports facilities, commercial space, and a hotel.

The first phase of The Wadi is expected to be completed by 2030, with approximately 400 homes available for residents. Its prime location will put them within minutes of Yas Island's various attractions, including the upcoming Disney theme park.
