Disney Trademarks New Lakeshore Lodge Name Amid Concept Art Reveal
Disney has filed a trademark for their new Disney Vacation Club resort, now officially known as 'Disney's Lakeshore Lodge'. This updated name was recently revealed in concept art and is also reflected on Disney Parks Blog. The original project was called Reflections, A Disney Lakeside Lodge but was canceled after 2020 before being rebranded as Lakeshore Lodge.
The trademark application, filed on August 11, covers various services including restaurant, resort lodging, and hotel accommodation services for the updated name. This move aligns with other Walt Disney World Resort hotels, which all have a possessive 'Disney's' at the beginning of their names.
