Disney Unites Top Creators in First-Ever 'Created in LA' Event
The Walt Disney Company hosted its first 'Created in LA' event, bringing together over 350 top creators for two days of collaboration and inspiration.
The event kicked off on September 17 at the historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, CA, where creator Jon Youshaei's vision came to life. The theater hosted its first red carpet premiere of creator videos in its 100-year history.
The event featured a slate of creators and executives giving insights into the creator economy. Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro gave his opening remarks, stating that 'we are at our best when we embrace the best-in-class storytellers.'
The programming included sessions like Zach King's 'Behind The Magic: Tips from 18 Years on YouTube' and The Try Guys' 'How To Make Shows, Not Just Videos.'
