Disney Unveils 55th Anniversary Merchandise Collection with Opening Day Cast Members
Walt Disney World Resort is gearing up to celebrate its 55th anniversary on October 1, 2026. To commemorate this milestone, Disney has unveiled a new collection of merchandise featuring opening day cast members Frank and Earliene. The duo, who have been with the company since the very beginning, modeled various items from the collection including hoodies, backpacks, tumblers, and more.
Frank, an Entertainment Readiness Manager, reflected on his experience working at Disney for over five decades. 'Walt Disney World is a place where someone can find a first job, fall in love with the company, and work there for most of their life,' he said. Frank has held numerous roles within the company and expressed his gratitude for the opportunities provided to him.
Earliene, a merchandise hostess at Disney's Contemporary Resort, also shared her thoughts on working at the resort since opening day. 'I just love it. I love my Disney World,' she said. Earliene emphasized the joy of making magic for guests and seeing kids have the time of their lives.
The 55th Anniversary Merchandise Collection is available now at the Emporium and Creations Shop at Walt Disney World, while supplies last. Select items will also be available online at DisneyStore.com.
