Disney Unveils AI-Powered Vacation Planning Tool

Walt Disney World has unveiled an AI-powered vacation planning feature called Guided Search on its website. Developed in partnership with Google Cloud, this tool aims to simplify the process of planning a trip to Walt Disney World by using natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms.

Guided Search allows guests to search for vacations based on season or month instead of fixed dates. They can also describe their preferences in plain language, and the system will generate summaries, comparisons, and answers based on Disney's internal data.

The tool includes an interactive map that shows resort locations relative to the parks, as well as a pricing calendar that displays nightly rates for specific room types over multiple months. Guests can compare resorts side-by-side and ask follow-up questions in a chat-style box powered by AI.
