Disney Unveils Concept Art for Lakeshore Lodge Resort Ahead of 2027 Opening
Disney has released two new concept art pieces for its upcoming Lakeshore Lodge resort, which is set to open on July 1, 2027. The artworks feature a fresh perspective of the grand lobby and a first look at Branch & Brush, a new lounge offering handcrafted cocktails and views of Bay Lake.
The lobby's defining features will include expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing the beauty of nature to greet guests from the moment they arrive. Inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios' Pocahontas, a shimmering fiberoptic river will illuminate the floor and flow around a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering.
The space will also feature familiar friends from decades of Disney animated storytelling etched into its design, while overhead, the blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture with hundreds of suspended glass leaves will fill the area with movement, color, and wonder.
