Disney Unveils Immersive Animation Experiences at Hollywood Studios
The Magic of Disney Animation has opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida. This new collection of animation-inspired experiences is located within the Walt Disney Studios area and features several interactive experiences. The building itself resembles the Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California.
Guests can explore all 65 Walt Disney Animation Studios animated feature films throughout the space. Four main experiences are available: Drawn to Wonderland, an immersive indoor playground; Off the Page, a zone showcasing key stages of animation; Olaf Draws, an animation class where guests learn to draw with Olaf's help; and Once Upon A Studio Theater, which screens the Emmy Award-winning short film.
Drawn to Wonderland is inspired by Mary Blair's original concept art for Alice in Wonderland. The area features themed sections based on the Mad Hatter's house, the Queen of Hearts' rose garden, and the Cheshire Cat's Tulgey Wood. Off the Page allows guests to encounter characters from various Disney movies, including Mulan and Rapunzel.
