Disney Unveils Lakeshore Lodge Lobby Design and Dining Venues
Disney has unveiled the lobby design and new venues for its upcoming Disney Lakeshore Lodge at Walt Disney World Resort. The resort is set to open in summer 2027.
The lobby features floor-to-ceiling windows with views of The Wetlands outdoor recreation area, a shimmering fiberoptic river on the floor, and a blown glass Colors of the Wind sculpture suspended from the ceiling. Custom tapestries inspired by Pocahontas and furnishings made from river-recovered cypress wood add to the natural atmosphere.
Three dining locations will be available: Moonglade, a table-service restaurant with seasonal ingredients; Bay Lake Provisions, an all-day quick-service marketplace for grab-and-go orders; and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill, a pool bar and grill inspired by plein-air painting. Dandelion Terrace is a two-story lounge designed to watch the Magic Kingdom park fireworks over Bay Lake.
The design draws from Disney storytelling themes and natural materials throughout the resort. The venues are expected to be completed for the summer 2027 opening of the resort.
