Disney Unveils Star-Studded Cast for Upcoming X-Men Film at D23 Fan Event
At the D23 fan event in Anaheim, California, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige unveiled the star-studded cast of the upcoming 'X-Men' film. The movie, set to release in May 2028, features Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, and Adam Driver as Nathaniel Milbury, also known as Mr. Sinister.
Disney also revealed details about 'Frozen 3,' which picks up with Anna's wedding and is scheduled for a November release next year. The cast members Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel performed a new version of 'Frozen Heart,' while Josh Gad debuted a new song, 'Ooooh, Samantha.'
Other highlights included first-look footage from 'Star Wars: Starfighter' starring Ryan Gosling, who is also attached to Disney's upcoming Marvel Studios project, 'Ghost Rider.' The company screened footage and announced an October 14 release date for 'VisionQuest,' a Disney+ miniseries created by Terry Matalas based on the Marvel Comics character Vision.
Pixar Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter shared details about 'Incredibles 3' and 'Coco 2.' The former is scheduled for a summer 2028 release, with the superhero family reuniting to face a powerful new villain. Docter also announced an animated series based on the 'Kingdom Hearts' video game franchise.
