Disney Updates Toy Story Land Ride with New Character and Music
Disney's Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios is getting an update. The area, which has been entertaining guests for nearly a decade, will see changes to one of its main attractions: Alien Swirling Saucers.
The ride, currently known as Alien Swirling Saucers, will be updated with a new name and character from the latest Toy Story movie. The ride's full name will change to Alien Swirling Saucers: Lilypad's Jams. A giant version of the tablet character Lilypad will appear outside the attraction entrance.
The ride itself will feature new music and a storyline where Lilypad has connected to the internet, remixing and mashing up different songs from various genres. This change aligns with the Disney+ release of Toy Story 5, which debuted in theaters this past June and will be available for streaming on September 23.
The updates will take place on September 25, 2026, just nine days after their announcement. The changes appear to be permanent.
