Disney Water Park Perk Ends, But Returns Next Summer
The complimentary water park admission benefit for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests has ended. The perk allowed eligible guests to visit Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach for free on their check-in day, but it was discontinued on September 9.
This means that staying at a Disney Resort hotel no longer grants automatic access to the water parks without an additional admission fee. Current water park tickets cost $78.81 after tax for adults and $72.42 after tax for children.
While this change may seem like a significant loss, it's worth noting that the benefit will return next summer. This off-season could be a good time to visit Disney's water parks due to lower crowds and warmer temperatures in Florida.
