Disney World Adds Festive Soundtracks to Popular Holiday Rides

Walt Disney World is adding holiday cheer to two of its most popular thrill rides this season. Starting November 25, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT will feature a festive soundtrack with three seasonal tracks playing randomly. The songs include “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams, “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses. This holiday remix runs through January 6, coinciding with EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, which takes place from November 27 to December 30.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is getting a holiday makeover with the “Obligatory Holiday Overlay” from November 4 to January 6. The Electric Mayhem band takes center stage, with four new holiday tracks added to the ride’s soundtrack. These include “Holiday Road” featuring Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear, “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” with Jennifer Hudson, “Silver Bells” with Cyndi Lauper, and “Little Saint Nick.” The ride reopened in May with a full Muppet makeover, and this limited-time holiday experience promises to bring even more festive fun to guests.
