Disney World Boosts Hiring Amid Multi-Billion Dollar Expansion
The Walt Disney World Resort is undergoing its largest expansion in history, and to support this growth, it's hiring over 5,000 new employees across various departments. The massive hiring drive directly reflects the scale of construction and development underway at the resort. According to Disney, Magic Kingdom will be getting an all-new Villains Land dedicated entirely to fan-favorite Disney antagonists, featuring two flagship attractions, themed dining, and unique retail shops.
The park is also expanding Frontierland with a new Cars-themed area, featuring an adrenaline-pumping off-road rally race through mountain terrain, mud trails, and water obstacles. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, Pueblo Esperanza, an 11-acre land inspired by the Tropical Americas, will be built in place of DinoLand U.S.A.
The new land will feature two major attractions: Indiana Jones Adventure, where guests will go deep inside an ancient Maya temple, and Encanto Dark Ride, an immersive journey through Casita Madrigal on the day young Antonio receives his magical gift. Meanwhile, Pixar's Monsters, Inc. is coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios with a dedicated land called Monstropolis.
