Disney World Bus Route Shakeup Hits Magic Kingdom Resort Area
A recent change has taken place at Walt Disney World Resort, specifically in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area. The newly constructed Floridian Way has opened and replaced the intersection at Seven Seas Drive and Floridian Way, which was permanently closed in July.
The new traffic pattern has led to changes in bus transportation to and from the area's hotels. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, buses now stop at Disney's Contemporary Resort before making their final stop at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, sharing a single bus stop (Gate 4).
Buses departing from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Magic Kingdom Park, and EPCOT also follow these combined routes. Additionally, bus service has been combined for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge, with both resorts now sharing Gate 8.
